HENNING, IL -- Full-Fill Industries has installed a high-tech packaging system on two of its production lines.

The automated systems allow greater efficiencies and speed when preparing Full-Fill's products for distribution. The systems were installed on Lines 1 and 2, and are similar to an automated system constructed on Line 3 earlier.

"This system greatly helps us meet our on-time delivery goals," said Jonathon Clapp, Senior Vice President for Production.

A carton erecting system was purchased from Smurfit-Stone, headquartered in Chicago. Smurfit-Stone leads the industry in the design and manufacture of flexible, versatile innovations for product manufacturer packaging needs.

The company also installed a case packer from Hamrick Engineering. The system handles can sizes from 202 to 214 diameter; case sizes from 6 to12 packs; and 24-pack trays. The case sealer is capable of handling a wide array of carton sizes and heights.

Full-Fill Industries of Henning, Illinois, is the leader in private brand food aerosol product manufacturing. The company's products include food sprays for cooking, grilling, baking, flavoring and cake frosting. The cooking sprays are distributed nationally to leading grocery stores and in the foodservice industry.
